The Peel Region delegation, consisting of the Regional Chair, Regional Council members, and senior staff, will attend the 2024 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) three-day conference from August 18-21 in Ottawa, Ontario. Peel’s team will meet with provincial ministers and senior staff to advocate on pressing issues including provincial funding shortfalls for social services, infrastructure to support housing development, and much needed funding for mental health and asylum claimants.
